This set consists of a 2-piece landscape diorama. Novelty 1972 - available until production ceased. This set was offered as 2000 U (U stands for Uhrwerk = clockwork) or 2000 E (electric). The lid always says 2000 - mostly without any letter - always shows the red 1013 b - but not necessarily included. My 1sr set contained a 550 plastic steam loco. The street shown left side on the lid picture does NOT lead towards the quarry - but leads towards an implied underpass leaving the layout |

The complete landscape was made of plastic - incl. tracks, bridges and switches. Both bumpers (top left and right) could be removed in order to enlarge the layout with available tracks.
