863 and 864 Crane set | |||
Set 863 as described below - however presented and sold in a blister counter display. Most probably available before 1963!!! Yes - was available!!! as shown in the Novelty Leaflet as of 1962. Crane-Set No. 864 - consisting of 758 and 759, twin-axle Truck with single axle trailer, additional crane, mainly made of plastic and tin, the function of the crane were achieved by 3 cranks, truck without any function except "engine sound" when pushed, superstructure of truck similar to 845, numbered "43" on drivers side and "HB-N" on right side as on the license plates- possibly indicating Hans Biller - Nuremberg". Two figures sitting in the cabin of the truck and crane. The connecting rod of the trailer was adjustable according to the length of the load. To this set three plastic tubes and a concrete tub where delivered. Instead of the trailer the crane could be connected to the truck. Main colour was Orange, the boom and the concrete tub where Red or Orange. This set was presented on a card board without blister or in a normal box. Listed as Novelty 1963. |
