Catalogues from specialized shops and (mail) order catalogues

Franz Carl Weber, Zürich, Switzerland

This company was founded 1881 in Switzerland. FCW was one of the first to take the famous Billerbahn into their program - definitely already in 1950 - following some catalogue copies I have. And there are Main- and Special catalogues, e.g. just showing Toy Trains.

The 1966/67 catalogue is said to be the very last one presenting children-related accessories of all kind. As of 1967 FCW topic-specific catalogues were issued in different languages. Thus an annual total of 84 catalogues was issued.

Concerning the as novelty offered Set 1620 in the 1967 Christmas catalogue: it must be a printing error. The set is offered incl. 021 level crossing and 022 signal - this composition is known to be set 1614 - and was listed in Biller catalogues from 1966.

Any catalogue after 1969 does (so long) NOT present Biller items any longer - which has to be verified.
